Salary:         $40,462 - $56,410 per year, depending on education and experience.

Recruit Participants

-        facilitate recruitment of participants for the Keshotu Leadership Academy
-        conduct interviews to ensure participants have necessary qualities
3 v+ @' y% ?- c8 v% @) F
9 j8 n' z3 x: v  }, VOrganize Leadership Training Sessions
6 x7 ^- |+ J2 r8 j7 _-        locate an appropriate venue for weekly meetings
& u1 S- j" x7 O0 ]-        set up a plan for the span of the project (Jan 08 – Dec 08) for weekly meetings
# L/ J& M4 f' N/ b5 M-        use project proposal to ensure time is spent with all identified areas

  h% N3 G) }- FPlan and Facilitate identified public events
-        with youth participants

Media coverage
8 u6 E3 e7 g+ n' t! n- S-        work with media consultant to ensure good coverage of project

+ F) P: H' E( N-        attend meetings relevant to organizational mandate
-        create and maintain relationships with community groups, individuals, institutions that are interested in race relations

5 q  ?* b/ {5 U-        Be informed on current issues on race relations and other areas relevant to the position.

Proposal Creation
% X7 w$ ~  |- h/ W7 B8 F9 h# g-        With program manager, create proposals to continue funding of this project.
+ A* l. F5 D" v" ~, I" u-        Also with program manager, create a logic model for each project with activities; short, medium, and long term outcomes; and indicators

Reports to Funders and Program Manager
-        submit quarterly reports to program manager and timely reports according to requirements of each funder

) S4 \. v3 Z" F7 N5 s) C-        work with external evaluation consultant to collect appropriate data for evaluation
  E  S- a3 G& U6 g" Z& A; k-        include in all interim and final reports, outcome measures using indicators from logic model

-        excellent knowledge of the issue of racism in Canadian society

: s8 [4 _2 G  p-        degree or diploma in human services field
