阿尔伯塔居民今年年底将收到繁荣奖

保守党倡议将目前政府预算赢余大约28亿中大约10亿的财政剩余分摊给每一位居民。所以每一个阿尔伯塔居民今年年底将收到至少$400的支票作为繁荣奖。

That should be considered as a "gift", and if it's more than $500 in a year, then you have to paid tax on it. My tax teacher said maybe that's why Gonv't won't paid us more that $500.... but one of my classmates then asked--- so why not $499?
