execution of the YWCA Strategy

Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership, general supervision, management and control of the operations of
$ @0 A$ n* b# m/ b; s0 n: Xthe YWCA on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the plans and policies approved by 9 r4 X9 m* u8 _0 `$ D
the Board of Directors; ) b9 X" q+ u: _ P0 Q& m0 U
• Reporting to the board on a timely basis all relevant information regarding operations
* P0 R- ?# ~8 k: K+ B' o7 jincluding financial, policy and personnel issues and provides information necessary to
& a; K3 O4 a: P/ Benable the Board to exercise their responsibilities;
7 U6 t1 c* s5 m6 o• Contributing to the development and achievement of the 1 -3 year operational plan and
# a8 U9 M/ r$ J3 zobjectives ensuring that the plan is consistent with the strategic directions established by * y) [& L- f. M; P/ V+ ]

• Developing and executing the annual operational and capital budget; 5 i, \7 z% G* F5 ^+ h
• Nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and community organizations to champion ) j; a8 R- i! j \* l/ O; O
the development, implementation and successful execution of YWCA service offerings;
7 m; g- E3 A: r9 v$ z- ~• Reviewing existing policies and programs to recommend new or revise to meet the
9 m6 e0 T% c) v# C. kchanging needs of the organization and community;

• Enhancing the public imagine and working relationship within our community to

• Identifying the YWCA’s principle risks, reviewing those risks with the Board, and ensuring 9 L# S. l6 |9 T9 `: l( f# o
the implementation of systems to manage these risks;
' _. \! v& ~; J6 Q) }• Establishing, in conjunction with the Board Chair and Board, an annual list of personal $ A( `. t+ Q3 h* I! Y( O) F6 p6 V
performance objectives (within the context of the strategic plan) to be achieved by the ED - a9 c- V* D' r! c% |1 g% ^! C6 x% u
the forthcoming year;

• Minimum of 10 years experience managing multi-service non-profit organizations;

• Strong business acumen and familiarity with risk management, budgeting, forecasting
