Position Summary:
* G% e- B- A3 k6 [% ?1 H; g4 rThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.2 t; j- N8 N5 _, K! {& N

§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution / Y: g9 M' H e. ]! L$ T7 z/ e
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation0 N/ z. W i" ^+ o4 X
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times v/ g5 [' x+ T- y9 }! U
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk# Z: Q2 U/ L, |6 s2 }3 ]0 w1 |
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

Qualifications:
+ X( Z+ |* u/ x5 g§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives1 P5 a7 F- g, c
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports$ m- |+ B! N: }3 u; h# U. q; P$ l1 ?
§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation$ q6 A9 ^: u1 u( C$ E3 }. D
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
