The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers# q" L: R) }1 i1 R
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution

; |! M" u1 M9 b+ q! d4 o§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times- q' H F* v/ a; w) Y* @

§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert8 H! E6 }: h" t7 X; X7 D
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties/ P! r V W7 j6 Z# L; B3 g/ c
§ Special projects as required

Qualifications:
8 M6 @% U; I5 m§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

§ Fundamental commitment to customer service

Position Summary:
8 R1 k1 |5 {* {, xThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage a stable local IT environment

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
