8 t' j/ b9 K! O) \: |The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.- s7 A  ^: r0 d& p) G; t5 h

Responsibilities:
* H+ u! F5 f6 p/ U) X, b§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers) d' H: Z0 Z4 T; a+ Q! j' u1 B
§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
8 i0 q! Z6 }' d% y$ {2 v5 [) {§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation, @. `, p; {2 h2 \4 E9 q
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times& k0 M/ p$ T, e+ {# B
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk4 h* x9 p7 X3 M1 q; O
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
8 Q9 P- x9 W& s% {2 [+ q0 O  ]§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties
9 |) ]% f& {7 \0 ]§ Special projects as required

Qualifications:
& a! w6 c4 `. U4 K2 I  t§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
9 S0 O, H- \( y: ]& f§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision* K" D" b' M6 H% V
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service! m6 ]5 i; g# q, i* }( ~  ?
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues1 {. o2 a; }# |1 n: w2 X" S' m
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware( b  \* A; i& u, r$ G6 X
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software$ ^! S% h5 T# i! b0 Y" H  y, `
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems0 t& {/ T9 i/ L; `; J( r& ~+ T

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

: f) c! H; |. ~* u! z7 f§ Manage a stable local IT environment
8 F( K3 T* e- f6 ~4 B+ V2 }§ Manage and coach staff in IT group/ H2 T) c7 P& j, v6 R. L! U( H6 a7 \- Y
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support* }+ ?$ S) t5 l. A, w/ o, Z
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives, b7 R" X9 B: M* _
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
6 T0 E) }+ S" w4 [§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
+ b5 i4 l3 D. r" r1 V) A8 J§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to; B3 W- K" d) w6 g
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
9 w) n" t1 l* o7 e( }§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
, g( Q+ ^/ `' k4 ?  s' A% \& ]§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures9 y8 ?7 l9 S8 T5 f
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
0 M( X/ l9 }% ~( h% C7 c§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
$ V$ [! K& }& @3 n1 h0 t1 B§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

  r% a. I+ l" r/ c: J§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

§ Coordinate and support end user training3 A/ l) `4 u+ \4 q. F* `
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers& X  _0 B! r7 \7 _" q$ n
§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance$ s9 Z8 |1 I3 N1 N
§ Manage all printers in the building

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
