Turn around mean shutdown.
It could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

' e, Z' N) c, t$ YI think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

You'd better check it out before you take this job.

I printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
- Y7 t0 m3 @! D7 }: ]2 I) c1 WOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
. \: }' i6 a! Y4 nAnother said:” maybe means shutdown.”
) R( [9 {. R% R9 [8 FMy foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
