Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
& N6 o! s2 m; @8 U. r; hThe gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
9 N, j% {- T6 QThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
' o+ J. g2 ~6 O% ~After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG
