' ]. C8 j6 T' p' k0 z5 e: i3 _; DTwo cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.: C0 R) i" }0 K5 @3 F. z; B
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.4 E; i" J( U% h/ P% P9 F
The problem should be inside the bucket.

When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.8 f, b/ n; M' O9 p% s4 m
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
- V" l& }0 Z) l7 f3 n7 K/ MConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

" ]& T; J$ v1 AThe next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
6 z& d' q; _; t Q& KThey have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.9 H% ]0 ~' Q9 Q: q$ T3 {( f
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
