; u! T2 _: h9 p+ D, _On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.4 `# U5 o$ b/ m) T+ |# m4 r" O# F! A

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ' S: X% T$ Y9 D5 i
digging for and examining fossils * R0 @6 W! v, _0 v( q; x+ D, p# r
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth & ?7 R1 ?# ^' e( f/ Q4 K8 d- ^
investigating insects ( u4 |3 \% V. n" Q1 O
and much more!
' C8 N9 O+ l- R“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation., q5 s1 u/ h* D) @2 q4 \
