On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.5 L, F0 p+ {& n2 G- V

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:/ a; \6 ^: f5 M% M/ n
1 i3 s: } Q; x( a9 U) |learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
$ [4 h4 C* ?0 g, _: Tdigging for and examining fossils
9 a8 I* S: }: y" D7 j- e. S- ]. u+ Xexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth 0 U* n f7 z0 _$ m2 z# O; A2 _6 M

) a- k9 P9 _0 d; ~" z0 `( \. z“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
