On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:" K g# K7 Y1 G0 i0 j; i; B
0 m2 f1 v+ B4 R) ^learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 5 u! z! a! s0 g) ~+ z7 l
digging for and examining fossils 9 V1 M5 W1 |3 t" p+ p, m6 V
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth " Z( u9 E1 S- q' K) V
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
