No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.7 b% Z5 e! Q( c+ Q5 ~) u3 n

The energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.% p- E$ E1 i5 X) f' ? u7 v
( J6 h' Y$ V6 RSuncor has been plagued by a series fires at its oilsands operations in the past five months, suffering three fires since October in the upgraders which convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil.7 l, g0 l% S3 y
