CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday.

No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.

1 F* ?0 ~+ w* l0 zThe energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.% D& f q' y6 N3 s; [

1 H' o! N3 V$ S; ` ~/ NAccording to Reuters, Suncor could not specify how much crude the unit was producing before the incident.
