The Russian won a  extraordinary 5-set match against the Spaniard Fernando Verdasco  last night.
6 V# G, n+ t8 R. V For me,  his next quarter final match with Roger Federer  will decide who is this year's champion, it is the actual championship match.

Take the fact he beat both Federer and Nadal in one tournament twice in a row  in these two months. He has a chance. We will probably see a new Champion.

But a winner is still a winner, whether you like him or not.

" v0 C6 p) E2 C- wVerdasco is playing the style I like the most, full of passion, and improvised  shots. This make tennis such an enjoyable sport to watch. I still remember the last year match between him and Nadal.

Those guys play with their soul.
The Spaniards are either bulls or the bull fighters, they fight to the end.
Verdasco lost  the match due to too many unforce errors and double faults.
But he still  fought all the way to the end, that is heroic.
That is the spirit  of tennis.
