Responsibilities:4 S! W3 P. H* P3 _# f6 c% v
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth% G, e Y1 O; O- A7 Z% q L
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling1 B3 m" i& P" `! N* c. N
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups9 v3 M. ?9 a/ Y9 \
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs7 S0 t3 |* B6 ?6 B4 I
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences3 I; _* _2 J- [$ l* m; p1 `
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
( T' N5 l, U$ t5 y: n/ g o( i- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others3 X& n. q4 J( t- i
- Experience doing program development
+ z, _1 k+ P1 ~- Strong organizational and coordination skills
6 R6 z7 f1 Q+ N3 G! }- Self-directed and able to take initiative1 P. v0 y8 @% o5 U, g
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset( H: o7 K, }- J7 E1 ?# j0 x; R
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license6 O: _$ L$ Q' H) Y+ T

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
