1 A; s5 u. p7 [7 A6 uPOSITION:  Program Manager/Department Head (Full time: 35 hours per week)
) V+ h6 D  o% H) U2 G& e0 CAccountable to the Executive Director for managing the organizations operations through directing and coordinating activities consistent with the established mission, goals, objectives, and policies.
% Q! c$ t+ }8 ~$ a5 N' |; g& k5 J9 P! }This position functions within a strategic and policy framework established by the Executive Director and the Board and contributes to organizational strategy and policy development.
! q3 s( R; z: l; XTogether with the Executive Director, provides direction and structure to ASSIST Community Services Centre program areas and operating units.
9 j; |/ }" z1 T0 A2 \& XDevelops, implements, and monitors programs ensuring that appropriate and timely reporting to funding and regulatory bodies are in place.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•        University Degree in a related field
•        Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization
" X8 R9 o" h# u% u' ~+ X•        Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management
•        2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
0 Q% I1 }1 b. L2 k3 ^" i•        Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
