呵呵，可能我还是没说明白。我们是房子和地一起通过landmark买的。地虽然不属于landmark,但是他们代理certain lot.

It seems in this case only befit from building house by yourself ( I mean you build the house as General Contractor, not buy the house from the builder) is you can have your design.

you are absolutely right, I think. Based on my little experience, purchasing pre-owned homes is not as flexible as lots of people think. Different builder has different policies and some are ridiculous......
