Due to the unexpected national shortage of the H1N1 vaccine, Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health and Wellness will target immunization to Albertans at high risk.

* Both parents, or one parent and one caregiver of infants under six months of age;, R. X; l9 \6 t
* Children under 10 as of November 1 with chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes);2 x& E) W9 V) r
* Children over six months and under five years as of November 1; and
7 u$ t# H7 h: m' h Z* H * Pregnant women.

On November 12 and ongoing, new groups being added include:% U; C' [. h1 o+ k- n. w) h

* People with chronic conditions aged 55 to 64 as of November 1;
' J4 r, h9 G- m! Q, ~2 U3 q * People with chronic conditions aged 10–17 as of November 1. (Combined with the group added November 6, this group ranges from 5 to 17).
