In this and any flu season, it is important to take responsibility for

influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close
1 j" H- y+ O8 Zcontact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and2 c7 p8 e" _# Y# K6 U+ n' i
doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and7 b5 ~+ D9 e3 K2 W" z9 L8 d
then unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.
; @/ z; o @& MPracticing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your
. `/ `/ N ^7 @2 Z+ o5 c1 Lcough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta
; O/ z& N5 Y. h( o! r: MHealth and Wellness will greatly assist in minimizing the chance of8 B: w4 w; g1 g5 j
