influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close

doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and0 T0 c& a- U# c( h q _
then unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.* s) i; r0 ` I
Practicing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your. e) I- M% `: }4 n- H0 j/ b8 c5 ]4 N
cough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta
