Job Duties / Responsibilities5 P$ P# _( ^1 W' ^
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: " y' N& f% o+ Q7 t: g7 e
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support x% Q8 m L# P
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel3 T; S) p, C0 t6 B$ p: u
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
# n# Y5 ^ h4 h/ W• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
4 ?6 C6 ^4 q9 i4 z• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
7 t# d/ z: v% Y• Autocad and Microstation drafting
; F; P% ~: `, u* l! L5 u; ~8 i• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
]; D. d, [& N4 s/ Q• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator: V( O1 y- Q7 w$ O+ n& D6 t
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience/ N. Z5 f$ z3 N8 \+ c% F
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI; o I/ F6 J5 }4 m7 ]
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
1 ^/ v. X% m: ~1 z) d• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
( M' C. n* B, z- u• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required* k+ C+ a1 Y3 T$ P+ H6 h
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset- V+ Q5 ~; [9 a2 V. T U' r
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
