Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

$ u( R' T2 s$ @' F6 D) c• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
) @. q4 B9 Z; ^9 t/ z- y• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
* y/ e, ?2 S! c$ ?  ]8 x# m. E• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required

• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
