Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
; t4 s. J' a# C5 m) I( E2 ~: ^• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
# C% U  W0 e3 [9 l• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
* |* F1 g+ J( b) v7 T2 z& ^• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

3 [3 a; `$ y* a) W• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
$ y3 L5 j5 m. {6 d; U• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
# M0 u) Y- {* X• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
3 C/ q' f- |1 ^• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
( [8 O# d3 G' x$ r# l6 ~• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
