Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
# w" _0 g# |% m% I+ T+ R- e• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
3 r/ N4 G, u- K2 g# X4 e- N• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
" f0 N& t+ f. A. n7 f+ |• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
' ]- k% w# o7 _, ^  Y• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
+ A9 e9 G- b- ]. t# ]+ K• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

1 C7 z3 N+ E  u, d• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
6 h$ x4 m/ q6 ^  x/ F• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
; p$ E6 L! M2 I- G; K& n. f+ B• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
