Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
+ y8 I3 g' \" S• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
  R% E# x: p- w+ P$ [• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
- r& L  T( u# Y# [• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
0 G' m+ m: s8 w( L# m6 N  k7 ?- E• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

8 w1 Z! j0 ^2 j' u8 z• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
2 G4 \! M5 `  @+ z• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

* u& ^" _2 [, a• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
5 U. z$ L6 q7 x- @. L4 U• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
% k9 V# D; w  `. S' v" K- B• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
1 T. G% P" ?0 y5 [( z• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
1 U/ k  f0 x: d+ e2 t• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
