Police Service Preparation Program

This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

$ Y/ G6 G. v9 V9 c9 r; s/ PPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
: o& C* r: I" Q) Y4 zYou must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
8 @! K1 b( I* [  f) r• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
3 O$ ~8 C& J- \0 B3 p• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
