The Business Link is a not-for-profit organization committed to the success of the entrepreneurial dream and fostering economic development for the benefit of Albertans.  0 g# S6 l5 S0 J

Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.

" N- F3 G0 Q. c2 }& U! L2 b6 j4 O•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
" l/ J0 f) `: Q6 }  N0 S•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings ' A. i. L! a) s
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach
" z) f+ l) `1 |" A, `0 y5 \•        Promoting TBL products and services % A- E; l9 _- ~1 Z! C( R; `
•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance ) M6 @8 Z8 M7 G% H
•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables
& F  l# i, @2 B- w+ {* w•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta / G; o+ p- D# O7 L" }
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry

•        Arranging catering for various meetings # p# j- D/ Q% d
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office * w0 e' F5 n1 g4 H+ Q$ ~
•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times , C# {2 _- m8 {% |  ?/ z% r  h' e

" v4 k4 E5 d3 @) ?* e, T•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience
/ _) u! r9 l; r: S* @$ w1 a: b•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
7 n2 v7 n* b; j1 }•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field./ ^; Z- b3 y6 w; b4 ]$ h1 o4 ?

        Strong work ethic

        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions

        Continuous learning is essential to perform job effectively

A combination of education and experience will be considered.
