" U3 s" }3 ]& P/ yCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

Key administrative duties:

( A+ E5 _* g: x- d• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

% Q9 ]" b9 B* O8 W2 K• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.# _1 `3 q. N) q- K) q$ E
8 N6 ]. i9 U( c( N& T8 s• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.; ~! T6 y5 \+ H( @& L" Z0 n$ Y

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.9 ?0 r# ?9 d" U9 f$ Y; W; o* A

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.' P! ], M1 T2 I# l

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.% Q' h/ v& @- ^. d- u9 h8 t- M
