7 k7 P8 d& b# R( |% ICHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.( _. |0 \4 T! i0 H

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

& q6 ~4 b. _% f" F% D) k! e& S• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.( G! S9 D5 m4 o( r
4 s; a: C$ M4 U, r1 e( h1 P• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.# m" d' ~' D) z0 y* q, v. u

• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting: o) n& @! f2 o

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.

! a- \8 D- @% i @2 GSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.9 e4 e) g$ q) T) {5 {
