Job Duties / Responsibilities
2 J/ _! }* u; b* p8 e• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
' B# [- `2 B& T• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
4 i7 k. ^. w! L• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

6 r% _/ a: t( A6 {) D, ^, ?& I' {• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
( G: L0 b/ H9 F9 Z' a• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
4 z! H9 x, P. q+ V• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
8 s" q5 E, o7 ^5 t: W4 J/ ^• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
* c/ O& d6 d0 o) A. ~1 ?• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
8 _7 S( K& U  m7 m4 F• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
5 |% P$ S6 `9 H- p; i• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
# f4 V$ I) d+ F. B7 J5 s• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
$ t/ F9 Z* o% N* U• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
: x6 M% \5 F: i• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
+ G; a  s% @1 p0 Z; sresolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
, D/ w7 G6 g( D" R• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
; Y9 k8 X% Y2 D/ N5 U. V; [• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
5 |6 W3 c& j  q0 N: C; q* l0 P• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.


3 r, r; U9 `% W5 V+ {4 u  G, ^) tEducation / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
2 L2 i& t, L) l+ g3 a  e  X1 I! D• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
7 M8 m+ U2 N9 A; i2 L9 b• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
9 v( ]0 n4 Y0 \; m% S* [• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
