Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.

) Q X9 o* `& mThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).* l# ?0 }. q# { I
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.) ~3 o1 |$ G% ^' N+ R9 Q
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.# _' E, M" B) I& m7 k+ j2 [

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
