Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.( h- N! c$ d. M3 R2 G4 N
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.5 V, h8 T5 }; z2 U+ w6 ^/ U) V! \0 R

6 }* I% p4 L { B& y3 OThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
