There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.1 _6 [0 R; ?$ j U* K: D5 y1 u- O7 L7 ]
Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
& ~' H- F7 G5 U0 a) R, J1 @It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.: F2 w; {' p- X9 t# m3 A7 K; l

8 c. \) ]0 }+ R: UThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
4 S6 f- O, W iGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
! Z5 e# S* G) ~The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
