Program Overview:

Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential
; a0 k" J; J, B6 ]$ ` Y z4 {skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded: n. V' [% V" D6 y' u- ?% O
program combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work' Y! F2 a$ ~7 y
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
0 E3 [4 I$ o% A% p! K( c- z% zwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food6 L0 w, J' t1 `0 G1 O
services and others.

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian. x7 O X7 m4 l1 w1 u2 d3 X8 q
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
+ c7 ]" ?+ v* j @* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB1 H o+ c* @" H0 F4 R" a6 b
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
U7 p" j3 B q% ^) Psecondary education
1 W7 a% Y' \8 \9 U8 I$ _* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand* v1 m- p n+ F# d- C' b R

* Get First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certificates
