The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

Reception

• Answer multi line telephone system5 v: K# m+ c/ t o
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

Administration
7 @4 \% q# u; E2 V u K6 T• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail% ]9 B: ^7 F4 p6 `* x
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
: _% j2 r3 z( n1 O. a• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency ! F* W6 A: |' a/ Q3 U
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration; R* H' o) |, R. c- m
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 9 |! h, }# J" b6 n( M. Y
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution4 o' w9 i5 o9 {% [
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

Registrar

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
5 l, G5 D" s+ n: R, R5 m• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.( _9 }9 Q3 `. ^- i2 L
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
