2 q, _% v3 I2 N! `0 Z/ {' lBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
: h+ i2 C* x, D- P+ {(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

5 ~8 v6 A, [% pKey Responsibilities Include:
8 Z9 A& F# C  e+ XActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
7 b6 T% X! m/ n$ \# X; _3 E' ?•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
# x9 h5 z) _8 ^4 [/ B" v/ r- e•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
1 P$ K, ^3 X/ F1 Q: T. S1 b•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
2 @* ]' M1 `5 h! S' F•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

; U: v) _" m4 A" L7 E•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
; d6 W- M: w" x) J! a- r•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
