2 f5 W1 m5 H" P, cBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

* W5 a: E: f) Y0 z; z4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities Include:
! v( ^. d- \$ k1 G" a1 CActivity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
% A$ w' z5 A1 N3 j. T•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
4 ~& s; g' Y/ r/ |9 \) X  o•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

" B& H8 H/ Q7 G) iThe successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
+ l( T8 \/ j- \0 q•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
; Z: ?! i( _% k+ b3 W: j& ]$ l5 M  a•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
