* t' _2 T4 O) N: SBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

0 q+ a, U( {% b! ?. KKey Responsibilities Include:
: `6 S! s9 x6 z; D; ?+ C3 iActivity Planning and Daily Activity
0 [- O( N: R6 `: p0 _: h0 \2 |' h: L- b5 w•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
* k% O% y2 I5 Z5 H8 v: G0 C•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
, `* l' `- ^8 \+ g. m' B•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
& f1 v) @# q0 d: }3 Y•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
9 @$ Q1 C( {9 J9 ^3 L•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

8 F5 z" M9 r) p" I8 T* f•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
# }9 @9 _: u- _, H* c) @•        Experience with children
" u  g+ C: ]' K" U•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
