4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
3 w) t) F7 c7 W* r" z• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership. f: O. d9 R. ^7 V; }7 p. Q/ y- z
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
- @! W3 T, W' ?, w+ v• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 5 G+ C5 V6 I( N; ]% N4 H( {
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
$ d2 _6 j1 t! k0 c0 O0 [# Y• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
- q: K P1 A3 u8 B) b6 g• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

% ]/ x$ \( t3 k1 sThe successful candidate will have:
/ m/ Q0 M& C0 I$ w* h) O• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting/ b [7 R+ Q( s, B' S" j
• Experience with children
5 Z+ c' b- w2 ~2 J( z• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth 2 u! `$ ~: Z- j1 X& W) O: r
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
9 n* K+ G, R- R! {6 I8 A2 E• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
8 R! M1 o, U6 b" \; u. h7 L( ~• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources+ T6 ]* K6 V9 u5 T4 V7 K' P' [
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
9 l8 ^: I3 o, x! @( [- l# s+ {• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
