2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students

Key Responsibilities Include
( U2 n0 A) Q0 z6 U4 aActivity Planning and Daily Activity
0 a' j' w+ }0 @ |9 A& S• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
; P+ `! s- t. c6 {• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. _+ i, C2 N' c+ F/ v
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 0 P+ Z/ u, o) m: l9 j }. c
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.6 L3 {/ f1 {) } H
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.! S, n# `, y1 g/ F* n1 d4 n
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.# @2 _8 V' J" |2 {5 W! |2 Q
9 b0 C8 C$ R" Y( k7 HThe successful candidate will have:+ M# s& y. \% Q z1 y& Z
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting# N8 D; m5 _1 E' [
• Experience with children
9 f+ b! u- d0 m$ e6 S• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
4 Y1 A' K, S. a2 k* J• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
# T% Z+ `" J) P1 z• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.4 h# v+ \: ^! s5 L! Q+ I
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources# `0 e; n' @- s v' W! C% p" h/ O
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check / d) W! ~5 s8 i3 D3 e$ z8 Z
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
