BIRTH CONTROL PEER GROUP TRAINING

, a5 l) D& B  [$ LThis is a peer group training where women will learn more about Birth Control Methods and Fertility, for your own knowledge or to pass on to peers in the community.

+ [8 Z+ {/ l! d- D0 N/ _4 zThese small groups (5-8 women) consist of 3 sessions, 2 hours per session.  These groups can take place at an agency you may already be connected with or at the OPTIONS office.  
     
Topics covered include:
        Natural Birth Control Methods
) U+ p3 Z1 D4 A6 x* c   Barrier Methods
/ F3 W7 G# ^; M2 a* Q# X, y3 r, @   Hormonal Methods
                IUD & IUS  and  Surgical Methods
                Community Resources and Sexual and Reproductive Rights in
                 Canada

        These service is free and no immigrant or refugee status is necessary.
