Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
  ?. a% F. {/ y3 Y! ?
+ X: k) P! c. C$ C0 WControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)

% [7 z/ B* Z' a; v) Z, SA "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

I am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

I think so, i can see i have two keyboard inputs now, but the problem is that i can not shift to Chinese when i press Alt-Shift

你是用XP吗？想想当初你装OS时候是否将支持东方语言的软件包同时安装上呢？
