Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
' o7 I: Y- g0 h3 v1 t, U% |7 V0 {( }  K To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) N6 K5 _( e: g1 g To help promote the program in the community.
& I7 o0 I* X" M9 \ To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
3 r* b$ x- z  q To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
8 [5 F  S* M) N4 [/ K' R Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
& B8 @/ J6 }& j* q- ~ Current CPR and First Aid certifications
' h0 X2 J& \4 J( Y, k- Z- q Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
