Housing Program Worker

5 Q. d# {' `, q+ M$ XKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
) ]6 y2 u1 t0 ]! p! B, P" s To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
  [. M- U. o' h( U To help promote the program in the community.
7 y) H0 ^7 H) p* d+ H8 a% | To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
- S, ~/ q# B: W( }% R To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
( _- v' Q6 N7 ~: K# M/ B To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
7 s9 p4 a2 G" g8 c8 n/ W To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
! x( _9 |1 G! t9 a: J7 R 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
9 C) R( J2 z8 {% e8 | Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
  ~; p" o, @9 k8 j/ w Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
. a/ Q! y5 E4 Y& f9 t; q% i Current CPR and First Aid certifications
1 n% K) m  m* F& r- r! T6 O Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
