Housing Program Worker

& c# S# m  |% z+ d6 v/ vKey Responsibilities:
% p; x+ S- t& I; | To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
" p0 |: m* B5 p- G$ [- e8 u+ B To help promote the program in the community.
5 u. ~7 L; D8 V" ]' |/ @ To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
. [3 T1 B' I+ L9 b, Y To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
% d, ^0 a) s3 z. X# W2 f 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
% v1 `# y3 A: z Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
8 ]- ^9 M1 _* M7 d Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
