The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

9 s. D. C- Y% N7 z6 Q; j4 vThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management# f, ~, [ R# D8 S
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 1 s6 T+ Y; t" l& ^0 s2 E0 G
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
* w$ H) x4 o* |5 Q• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
. |/ S* W* T; h' }0 \4 D• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
% `) s5 j s9 B% s• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery) d" O5 J) J) ^6 Q; G# L X( X/ `
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program " w! I( l4 P# d3 O4 w- O) k0 k$ V
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
6 Z$ G4 e* \- d1 y! @( H0 N" y1 {• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required1 ?: ?' @7 {- c1 ]) f, ~( [
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
/ k1 M# F8 B+ {' k$ p% W% ?& i3 Z7 n• Review service action plans and support programs as requested9 t- o: Z; W' Q9 M8 u( L, P3 M
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
; F4 T" |) ^8 ~& }; q& a0 Z5 i• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

1 k( [4 f% x4 y3 `• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director- A2 k. r% }0 `3 j" Q
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review" U" Y* O# p4 H7 ~- C
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:+ W1 k. g3 J7 L
# O, y; }5 C2 @7 H* O• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
5 V9 x4 W0 o, a, z6 s• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities2 @. ?/ d3 T: f( C
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience0 g* z' S( Q5 q' E. c- B* N
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations! w5 {1 Y+ z: Z- S n4 C, _) M* \
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population3 I1 T, I" `/ ~# N. y5 d: P
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
