FAVA is currently looking for a Librarian to join the FAVA team for 10 weeks in the

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
4 y' U8 f9 Z' Q# R0 f$ C2 GFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
: Q4 S' f" k7 b' dwell as the script, magazine and book library.

& ?, m% Y% M7 x4 f- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 1 q# P1 A; u* J" h1 X& z
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books + Q- g9 S0 J2 w& u- \/ u
- Implement a catalogue template for future use
7 {5 L$ f K5 n. W! ?8 n- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
" F L1 T% N+ n. k3 R8 K- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable ) c0 o" r7 v3 S" e2 I6 b" G8 }

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-
/ b$ g2 J* O v! Z) Lsecondary training, university preferred

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational skills
. g; H0 Z2 ]" M* @2 x: z- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 8 T8 e7 P& G& |' z3 ^4 H
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 2 O4 H, O) _- g- z
- Strong team player abilities / _& M% `" n! H& V, _+ I
