summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mandate is to

$ d# X- @4 I( G; n2 CFAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from ) z# E {' [: M
emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 4 z5 Q* Z: L7 i# |" U8 H
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a " t. V2 x9 a+ }* m8 {6 k1 o9 c
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

. b, X' w9 B8 Z. AJob Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
: O$ B% {4 @, DFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as + \0 |2 {( M3 G; b
well as the script, magazine and book library. R; A' }# I) z) K

Duties:
7 v5 V! q* G( ?- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 2 @- s3 v8 @. P# y( H6 s$ _
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
8 s- |' f0 \6 d p3 J% X) i- Implement a catalogue template for future use $ U' q' O3 h( b4 a2 c
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
1 i- K9 E+ A$ t' h9 I4 O- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-$ I1 |4 I$ @0 Z' s
secondary training, university preferred

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

! {! s) O P3 z# o- Strong organizational skills
