Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive 7 g8 Q- V1 c& J, O4 k1 x. J3 M
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by , b' n/ O' \) f6 D( v4 e4 b
assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. , @* Z3 Y. v& }" n, ^8 ]/ ^

- Assist with research on acquisition grants $ @( ?; e! T3 g2 M1 E9 C9 ?% A
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities 6 e. t4 p$ O3 W' X3 c
- Assist with equipment maintenance # t: W$ w, {' X7 X
- Assist with production logistics for programming events 4 w; ^0 h: a' u; S& e* r+ b
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
& z r/ Z1 ]/ \0 m- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable / w) k5 ~% _1 T6 l% l

- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
@2 i, w$ n2 I- Advance organizational and research skills ) }2 \$ B" j6 L) _& M3 _
- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD $ J& ?1 F7 z7 _
- Strong team player abilities . m6 H: |4 g' t2 Z
