Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
7 d1 h1 F+ ]! h6 j. S. a. A5 @ To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
' R( j  c" l* ? To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
! i- n+ K; `5 J+ }9 t$ O/ M4 ^ To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
, J3 B4 l' z# J: Q7 ?9 V" Q# v/ J  ~ To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
9 g3 V0 q! ?* N! X7 V 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
+ u1 Q" ]4 |; W' Y Current CPR and First Aid certifications
2 X, B/ M! }+ R$ x* P Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
