Housing Program Worker

) g8 ?! b8 k+ IKey Responsibilities:
- e! J$ G* J' H9 m0 a7 u# K To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
& c7 L, x$ K3 s/ `1 N To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
, {, h0 Z- @6 f% V6 F To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
( }1 N6 P7 e( X1 Q 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
8 n, D  u3 r: F! }1 m1 ^ Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
% C4 W6 L7 h/ [: c Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
! G* T5 H$ ]1 n! Z& x+ L8 K

Hourly salary range is $8 to $10/hour
