Housing Program Worker

0 i# B" k( P* o7 ~. qKey Responsibilities:
4 k5 h" C1 }- Q% Q8 f* I To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
) ?6 W% a; _: v3 Y' t# n2 L: { To help promote the program in the community.
# @2 x5 W8 l1 q% @4 b6 _ To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
) m. ]* Z' `: v4 K  i  V To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
; I3 }3 O9 {7 j$ ?' ? To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

9 A, x6 R! J! ~$ p8 {Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
" d, d0 c& o8 z6 c 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
7 k0 X3 }4 t7 g6 M0 ? Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
+ ]" f, S# p, V# j5 C Current CPR and First Aid certifications
4 w2 E" \; _6 _5 l4 Y2 l3 f( F+ O/ J Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
