Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
- n; k$ Z1 b4 d0 B: U; l) F/ b7 h To help promote the program in the community.
. b0 \) `' D. f" l To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
; X$ r$ K: W" x% n4 ~) O7 [ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
. \4 \* ~+ m) M6 J) z0 P To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
/ H# e0 U, V) {% g$ @3 A5 T) U" L2 E To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
7 b( H3 Q9 M, C) E( Y# s3 D To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

4 \" b+ t& S3 B" jQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
3 K' W- ^0 h# G8 {* D 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
7 y8 \; f9 _1 |2 p) w Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
2 F& p/ h7 C/ v' _1 f7 S# u1 v Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
8 A. c/ Y* g* r7 f' H Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
