Responsibilities:
2 }1 P0 ], G' Q0 T) s2 g" q- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
; n2 p$ B0 m- @1 d6 D0 F- Find sponsors to enhance program
) v8 G+ G! x/ j- Supervise volunteer(s)
0 B5 g7 G2 T5 g! t3 g- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

# ^2 \% W4 |$ |; J. m4 _- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
+ d; q' m3 _: D4 b+ n- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 f' d8 r9 L# c. X- C- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
# W. f7 M- B1 I9 ~6 A3 W. G; k- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
