Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
) }- m( [: E1 T  n" t  }2 M- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
$ L: q2 {! k- S8 v! l- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

& [5 k/ r# E- jQualifications:

% ?" `: o; F" e) w- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
7 n$ E( X, H- J! `5 C$ q- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
# Q; n# O; p# O5 @6 q4 J- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ i# m1 @  d4 ?: @) {- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
3 m% g* c4 O. Y0 N8 x) C7 I- leadership abilities
4 t  R) ~& @& `0 b: t- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

7 ]( T# r; C- n) Y/ n' e- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
