Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
' T6 E, J, L. k4 A' Y& g" a- Organize focus group(s)
3 u2 g. y; x- ^1 z: s! }$ g- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
6 N( Q9 O/ E  m9 q' ]( O( G- Provide orientation for parents
$ d* a* T* d' T- ]3 _' b- Find sponsors to enhance program
2 L! W0 t2 a  @- Supervise volunteer(s)
. C5 m2 B  Q5 j$ H" X- Prepare final report for funding agency

7 t$ b* S9 U# ^Qualifications:
1 S* O9 l6 Z  ]2 a* Q) L
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
1 ^# `, |. H1 ?8 C* _1 w0 Q- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
9 \5 \- }6 a; p2 j+ V- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ w6 `: c# X8 y- ]  H' R. O+ L  f- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
8 J2 \( X& i  R: z- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
