- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
' n8 p# r- ^1 _: P provide services for Chinese community# m* K8 X0 v* O
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
7 P% P. F$ e3 m* Y) x' Z0 c: m5 t access to mainstream services) z; d( j( t& ~
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 4 t1 F0 a5 `6 y
social services7 y+ _( n1 c0 N$ h8 a
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies0 a s. E8 m _- } Y$ I
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members8 p0 n* {1 f% z. |" e7 H9 J* T7 E
- update ASSIST website
4 ?/ R, d' c" r! G0 I3 B: Z- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre% ?/ O8 M, c% G3 I
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services# C6 m1 \7 u1 ` C: `5 Q; p$ N
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)+ @: A* J$ H( [- d! v; q: g7 E

Qualifications+ @. }( u7 ^+ E+ V
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
- ~) ^8 G" Y8 F) w6 W experience and education # c8 o& |+ D$ T( l- X
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills; `9 s, @0 Z/ m8 {4 {
- experience in community work and immigrant services. R& K. B: X+ J2 C/ u
- experience in website update/design
/ i. v$ t" o5 }# H0 o/ W- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset* `* |' f# n6 b( }1 N% W7 ]) I
