- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
' p/ _: r8 B) C3 K7 |* \. d, N provide services for Chinese community
8 b! ~$ p6 q" W& C- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
! J: h* C) I' t access to mainstream services
. }/ c* c B5 U( a- F) k9 W: Y0 ^- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
/ Y, y# D) m7 j- S social services
2 h, U' U/ y7 q6 G |5 V& F( C- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies3 F% M0 b' _9 @& @5 ?! i
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members+ q5 Q. w& o) Z! b$ E% a
- update ASSIST website, |2 u; W' G! K7 O
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
3 N5 i" x$ K/ ?9 @' u9 h- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
% N1 X) Q- Z8 y& J experience and education
) n' ~$ o3 n+ s+ d; a W+ ?$ S6 @, a- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
* z0 |1 J. {, ~" z' G6 d- experience in community work and immigrant services5 D4 N9 u0 _7 U
- experience in website update/design) Y4 x7 |* f F5 w; x( K6 _
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset$ r6 M' ^! e5 i+ U8 [- m% Z
