Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
I: o! O) `. f3 \ provide services for Chinese community3 X0 C! n7 k; I
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population * ]- U7 T# A) y* _/ N' A9 @" V
access to mainstream services
# O( m# v5 u; M- u8 t: A- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

7 h2 i9 K0 ?1 D: g- y: @- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
$ _' o6 d) p1 T1 `$ C- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications
) h3 ]) L6 W! w# p( g- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
& o) D! f( m; U6 \" {3 Z experience and education 9 r3 B m0 v% [; A' H
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills- E5 \2 k7 T/ l: }) j) J$ g
- experience in community work and immigrant services
/ Y$ G% I8 \3 N- W& K, j- experience in website update/design) |4 s ^1 U/ N! T% Z
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
