- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to , q' t, r( r4 j2 p$ h1 V& |) J
provide services for Chinese community
3 m! f4 C; B! h5 O3 S- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
5 V0 N \8 e' M- g, \9 z) U access to mainstream services. |: D0 O; G+ f% }% U
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
" \1 W1 g5 z) ?; j/ y. R! Q( ? social services
/ X! q7 y1 M% P/ K3 [! q# W7 G- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
' [' p( Y6 V, Q; s" P3 _- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre C$ s0 K4 t, X j% O
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
M- J. l2 [5 e- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

, Y4 J4 a+ l- {1 z- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ! y& g z* p( M+ s
experience and education
; W8 A7 }4 k" f0 u6 L2 W" R- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
+ [1 ?, C4 w+ S& d N7 m9 `- experience in community work and immigrant services
# T9 f v3 U' k: ~$ k- experience in website update/design$ Q) l4 \' R; Q4 }
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset4 T1 I! R; t" O
