Responsibilities:
) R9 x+ K) w# R* }- _- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program ' H4 }0 ]' [, s: u
(ages 6 to 15)
, N4 L/ y& `" z* l+ L4 ^- Recruit children for summer programs
5 U0 P4 V* e- G) b N# }- Recruit volunteers for summer programs9 j5 p/ ?: Y, e3 H$ N5 ^/ _
- Record keeping, r; Z |; q9 r: K
- Provide orientation for parents
4 ?: {* s/ }: A- S, i- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
& y* ?9 V- O/ A) b' C3 K! a" X( O- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
& b! W! U# d9 S- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children! |) v, |9 \ s1 `
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
& Z( Z- o* q6 I7 h* @- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
% t9 ?0 i' Y$ T) b' r' P9 A- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese, ^: N9 e( N6 d. G: }- h7 R: |
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities( y8 H+ u& i9 I* ]0 `

/ Q* `& E' ~. Y& y- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
