    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
& m& N$ u. q6 U) {- ?6 W& q    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
- C5 `" B8 i% n: Y  R; M. s( v' H: @) V    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
+ I0 ^* W5 u4 Y. _, H! w8 \3 ~    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

Qualifications

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred
& Q# S$ W* r$ X! W: A6 ~  k    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

! X5 g: U) C% q* Q9 E! i, hSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
  t% F/ l$ s( {9 S7 b5 |3 Ywage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
