Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
% m+ M* J' ]9 Y0 b. Z2 }- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
$ v% F- |) F# k8 T9 o& B- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ ?* z+ A( e4 |1 V- e& I- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
$ s5 Q8 |' ]- U3 T3 E" E+ J- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
9 A5 y/ E7 k# n( {/ @0 I3 }- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 o& K& l4 P7 d' H- good computer skills
( |" L" N  c3 T* a7 Z, D- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
