A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

• Standard Child Care First Aid

2 a: d& {9 u8 B. D! s• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care

• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search4 F+ G; ?6 \7 ]( x$ C, \, ]

Eligibility Criteria
! z, s$ h; g+ ~; b( V% H• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen, d/ a g Z* Z$ J4 u# Y# E3 y
of Canada+ e4 H. {: R. g ]5 k! J
• have a Social Insurance Number
; {' z ~ h! t. V, p- ]2 P! r' n2 [• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check' j, l9 S) Y6 E; X& v
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
) e6 S6 j' ^0 g; ^. T) S/ `& _• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
6 P# \3 l, N7 i2 Vthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
, z4 a# c: S( M9 c5 V/ U• be unemployed or underemployed.
+ N2 d2 ^; A; R: S1 w; PThey CANNOT quit their job to take the course
