Business Analyst (.Net Application Development)

1 ]1 s$ ]( f1 \ \0 aAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
! q3 h2 Z: u6 K+ w/ lAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
2 L6 r9 G5 v* U. q/ `Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 4 f2 ]$ q3 R: g! Y' m9 C2 t
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 8 \/ `2 D- _- X2 ~
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
! E3 I8 h. k* UAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
3 X0 [( U* ?% n8 @7 r* V1 mSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. : L+ m6 T1 e4 l7 n
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
: a( c# L6 q8 I( FAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
) P ] g8 F# PSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. $ }" ~' W. `( E3 K
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
* W2 C3 t3 e3 W& m# l" S& q Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset# M; C7 g# \& e# F
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered., ?) L! b. o6 f" X, Q7 z
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
7 K0 p' A1 U& c, V; ^; i• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
! K9 O% m2 Y/ `; e5 l9 v+ e2 v% A• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment., r+ j+ `2 b3 v6 g2 Y! m9 P
