As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
6 Z8 ]" D& r) S& j$ Y: a" N! `& bAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
9 H C. D3 H+ SConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. ! s! d# g% w' {) i( l2 H
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
$ ^" [3 D0 w3 g! M7 @" PPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. 8 m3 L K( e v& ~5 b" e- E" j
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. % l& t! b. l: {% q1 u$ M
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
% B W O* n5 L. S) }! p+ I1 [6 \Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. ( }* C" x2 f) h- a. }" `7 I
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
/ o, ^8 u+ Y' N/ R7 fSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. + i& t) |: u9 R2 Z9 b4 o' c6 h3 W9 e
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. * P5 `% H" x# i! n0 V5 [7 N
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset% X3 i0 U! J7 d0 b# }) e
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.3 n; U A! [4 r2 ? {! R
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.% J) L1 J5 P# W: R, w$ \
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework. W2 ]4 I( R6 M, ]% ?& |! a
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment./ @5 a7 Y! ]+ y5 O# M! J

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
