Position           :   Laboratory Technologist
  x% r, Y; t+ T' Z* n1 _Responsibilities:      Processing and cryopreservation of Cord Blood Stem Cells
                     Processing and documentation of laboratory data  
                     General laboratory maintenance
                       Maintenance of laboratory equipment
                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers
                     Adherence to laboratory safety standards
                     Quality assurance procedures to maintain general good
                       laboratory practice             
Requirements:          Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
                     Good command of spoken and written English
                     Certificate of competence in Laboratory Technology from a recognized Canadian Institution
% L+ e6 m" _0 v/ X7 m                       or a foreign equivalent Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory setting
                       an asset Weekend duty on a rotational basis
Availability   :       Immediate; probational specialized training period of 6 weeks
Salary              :       Commensurate with qualifications and prior experience

                     Maintenance of liquid nitrogen freezers

                     Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

                     Prior experience in a medical or scientific laboratory an asset
