The best way to cut a contruss is by using chop saw, however chop saws are banded on some jobsite in Alberta, which is very wired. other means of cutting a contruss might be band saw, sawsall(reciprocating saw), or hydraulic cantruss cutter. Hacksaw does work as well, by you might need a little bit musle!. T7 H0 F2 _# }* H; h: ]

Steel cantruss is usually galvanized for corrosion resistance, but the galvanize also causes some problem and generate poison gas when welding . So, remember to grind the galvanize off about half inch back at either end of the welding points before you deliver it to a welder will be highly appreciated by welders.
