Position: Volunteer Services Manager / Location: Edmonton / Closing Date: November 07, 2008 / NOTE: This is a bargaining unit position.

Position Abstract: responsible for the administration, supervision/management of a comprehensive volunteer program that supports CKUA Radio's mission, vision and strategic plan, this full time position also supervises any support resources required to administer the functions of the volunteer department. # |4 V0 r. Q# h& V: F* d* i+ x
$ Z% ~) Q# ~! z3 ^1 s, w/ ^
Key Responsibilities: volunteer recruitment, development/implementation of a volunteer recognition program, training volunteers, development of policy & procedures that support the volunteer program, administering a volunteer record keeping system. PLUS: responsible for working with CKUA's nine Volunteer Chapters located throughout Alberta by providing them with guidelines, operating processes & training.6 ^% d$ n) Q' ~! Z9 V

Qualifications: formal training in a post secondary program of study geared to volunteer management/experience working with volunteers in a charitable organization essential; experience working in a unionized environment is desired. Some travel required. 7 V8 V- \* o* B
