The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
" ?: C3 b8 }3 V6 S* b" U$ P& V, O•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
$ d* E5 G3 M# g' \9 W0 i1 k9 H$ T•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
$ c$ n* d( O& C1 Q: V$ h- J•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
  P( x  L2 y5 R% ^/ s•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
: t) ~: z; d# N" R5 d8 \•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
' Y1 P" i# I  H0 m7 }•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
