Full time position (35 hours each week)

& m3 X. t2 g5 |4 zJob Description – Responsibilities
# N2 d3 @+ p. H7 E0 t•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
7 o" H) |) s+ R/ q•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
- Z+ ~0 r, g/ i. @5 |4 H8 J+ ^- Y•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
5 U$ G% I$ r& e8 w8 V•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
- v" J: X" q$ v" u6 D) Z) ?# D. Y•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
: G! k" L, i0 }) c) T' y2 \0 P•        be open and willing to explore new ideas

$ g! q, U  T5 E' t•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
- u0 b$ P# o6 H' O2 d9 R/ D•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
) v0 z2 f. i' T# \•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
0 w5 Z7 ~$ W6 _, B/ j0 p. m. V3 a•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
