Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
+ |1 Y  P9 {7 \$ D! K2 `; p0 C•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
" O& m4 j* l2 X) ~* w•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
1 u6 |2 @8 e, E7 z( |! r' G•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
3 G! O! o8 ~% V. f$ t•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
$ c9 S1 K- k; L4 d* d•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

+ J/ _+ Q7 I. x6 r6 Y! rQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
7 B. x& R3 n  \, h•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
  p0 D6 l. I! s1 F7 T: e$ K* M& E* [•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
