Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)
0 e& h" N1 A5 w  h! I( U
Job Description – Responsibilities
% b  R# _; V+ v/ E•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
! B& o' a$ S( d; d& l' c& b! p•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
) {1 R: }) `; N. w•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
9 o& d2 {* g' R1 z! p/ n; I•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
: F& ?, I/ N* }4 l% D1 p•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 _7 k0 P* w2 H, z. _•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

& e# w3 n- m4 a& F  zQualifications
# O* F  d4 L1 I+ }. P•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
' k6 o  G5 P; ~•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
' S( l; \( q0 G- O* M* j9 C•        willingness to learn
