2 H- j4 o" [8 DPosition: Youth Services Manager
: T5 D8 E  n+ P- \+ bFull time position (35 hours each week)

7 K$ D% F2 o. c9 Z% P( O3 DJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
5 [. \( m2 Q0 i" r4 A8 X% ~•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
$ J/ v! W2 V" w& p•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
6 H2 \8 x" D+ A  m•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
5 Y9 {/ B: h& \' n7 f6 Z; N0 n•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* U" X. }/ K( x/ t5 [+ Y" j•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
$ Q& w2 Q1 k5 [" g7 ?& C& W7 u•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
' I# g( r, }+ o0 ]•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

9 |& ^1 G/ E! [% JQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
9 U* \3 I5 A+ U/ M# I8 s•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
