  R1 r* c7 d6 ]  B3 b: ~; QFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
! I* D5 z' _5 B5 e: L; Y* N•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
0 G# r9 B2 z0 z•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
9 Q/ j  J4 q. r, R, k•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 U: `; C+ ?8 n0 d•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
+ h9 y: n3 U* l; Y3 t3 n•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

( O" p; _2 f- u( _( t, `/ I- V& QQualifications
( g& Y" Q1 E- k* S2 J7 y. Y•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
! ~  U0 Z* x; }0 R1 k# i2 F9 L•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
