1 H6 d; A) g6 c0 g6 c3 c* j/ t' hFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
8 {1 w( F6 M% N/ R- U! l•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
9 l9 P# ^8 X7 N1 e& O•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 L0 a8 G1 @" ?& V) o4 {, g  m•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
- W2 o4 P! m0 g•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
3 l4 j/ M' O& m2 Q  i5 R•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
9 f3 f2 k2 X6 M9 t•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
