Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
3 W* ]7 w" d+ _  H. h% ~& S•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
3 T1 r8 l# c5 B6 B& Z! v( m1 a' [( d•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
' `6 }) P; ?. Q; m3 v•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
- K% b6 o& m& J8 W2 p& F•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
7 |) P( F) p* J•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
* D/ M  R  S" ]+ M* v  x4 r( s•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
2 e2 D& V# i% }•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

/ \8 {! p% h! Q) {Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
3 P7 d" M4 _( J/ M6 F3 m9 f•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
; N2 Y5 z" T) }4 B•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
