Full time position (35 hours each week)

•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
( p+ ?( ^! e0 u6 r% p% T% ^; T0 d* H•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
$ ^" X# H" }0 n- ]6 ]4 ?  c•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
! r+ d, [. a! v& A$ ?$ |•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
7 Y5 I: _9 V2 {0 d3 `* z•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
0 @; [- u; L& ?6 L•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
' _1 K; P% N3 n7 z•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
/ {; r0 I0 \6 \$ h9 a% o•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
( d0 s9 d% O" e' `4 a•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
6 _5 [( X, T. |& h- b. d( k•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
# c& n1 u6 x8 c( Q& r5 V•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
% q) o  X' n- Q•        willingness to learn

Other
•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
