The driver of the car was found dead at the scene.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.

Upon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.3 X& Z, ]4 F g4 o; D
/ _; J( U; W" \+ d. m8 W9 ^. THe was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.

# g, P3 ~" n& i6 M# _A police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.

$ U8 [/ }% Y5 X. D+ ~The three suspects were located by police immediately following the vehicle stop. A 32-year-old male is in custody and charges are pending.
