The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

  g: t0 c  y/ n( p- q2 ~9 W> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
> who does understand and
> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
, G/ H; v$ m: `+ A6 y> happened when God gave the
$ B0 Q* l/ d6 O  B+ e> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
> sinful lives and to purchase
* D: \. w/ f( s$ A> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
- F7 ?) }$ L% c0 g> His son from the dead
2 I  h% H7 b7 J8 |  n: i. X> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
' @3 q! n% e: `' x( w> hope. This hope, that's
' ~0 ^9 V( |, ~2 U) M8 e9 o4 ~> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
5 ^0 d; V: D* e0 c+ a0 m: x; r6 o> certainty based on the
9 u0 Q* h6 p& s3 V$ C> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
> anticipation and a longing
9 x1 T6 a4 f# n. j$ X0 q> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.

8 r) U! ~2 i- H8 Y> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
> Peace comes to our hearts
> and says to be still and know that I am God.
