Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant: M. c# U( x. ?
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
- m1 `' l2 ~* ?& n" `( o• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., d: o0 o* ]4 P7 L
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 ~: N# S6 F, R0 P1 P8 W1 ?• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ( t$ @; V" W E
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. m5 {, m( [) N$ t; a2 w8 g
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.1 N: @% ]4 S* Y8 T
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
* c" m% j2 N( k, |1 ?* _• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
8 m/ }4 k& K4 f) S) K• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., H# F* c' l. d% k
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
, I `1 `0 u8 T( W. B• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
' E" D, e6 w$ e' z' M• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.+ E( b3 U1 Z$ |' c+ {6 ]" F
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% N* K a6 {) u, [5 `5 o% B• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 M5 D: |/ u/ H0 w• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 s* E: q' _0 N5 u% I4 G• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
8 k3 T+ K& P* m1 q! j. \• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + |0 ?, R4 S5 p2 V/ f
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other; j0 Y2 T$ W; [& J0 z
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. # Z2 o \! }7 x. x6 }; q/ b
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.0 N/ t* ~1 S8 F/ c% ~
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
