Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant  ^4 r: |4 I3 J% w

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
3 w+ I% b) a: m) X•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." @" D9 z% S' |  I
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 f, p0 m6 ?$ E+ O
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  " Z' c  L( ?7 a8 |2 r. o* c
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.

•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.2 l3 U, P3 H9 U! h
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.9 N& s7 _, g" g, v# q7 O9 A8 m
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive." {% l4 K0 V$ [
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' T5 ?: c. S! i/ O" |' \0 g7 j- w
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.& t9 G1 T7 n' g
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy." T# }1 Z) p7 E
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

+ G2 y4 |. f9 _" ]) n& \4 I$ ~•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' j1 O3 j2 {3 H' M- H•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 3 k# R6 v* A& l3 L- y9 @: D
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; P: a$ g4 O+ }- `
•        Not scared of heights
