Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

: T" v/ g8 \5 Y& ]Major Responsibilities:
) n7 M; M+ [2 U5 c4 K• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 x) N1 G# ?1 \
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.' D! v2 `2 K9 e
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. : W- n/ N, V/ I5 ^
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 v7 f& J/ k, U3 F• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- V w. s+ Z/ I; g
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
; S+ z7 P0 c9 v" f• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.* d9 Y$ y6 I8 { N7 ?
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# W' @$ j5 r$ c/ e" P
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.4 ~, h0 k) o4 j }1 e+ U
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
7 g' a# v N- q- j. t• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
+ u- G0 `7 D3 m• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes./ L# B, i) X# G6 O$ S! r
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required." V4 {0 ^& A6 u& m2 r( }; S
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

1 Q0 ?1 u, u: N9 DQualifications:
; D: @8 U3 [0 F: D$ U' v0 h& p- y* \• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 r+ U3 n# A1 }' F% c" c$ @- y5 I
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . c+ g- h6 Z2 e
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
0 a! }8 l/ P, G) w) {• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 4 s+ Z2 P" P( A) L1 a+ y' h% `
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
' X5 b, C( G" c• Not scared of heights
# D4 O! F; Q( t• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other8 f. p/ ~/ J0 f
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
$ T0 t$ L5 A- G• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
