Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant! l( E1 m; x$ { j5 L

4 X& `7 q7 c0 s' g/ ?) Q7 OMajor Responsibilities:
1 ?7 s1 w8 w- J& t• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
2 _! u" v" S2 i" f n; @% R• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 f/ T5 X7 F% o" X+ B! f& P• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
0 Y6 _# J- d9 O• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! ^ _0 G, O" [& L- g, [
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.* k9 y1 c% @3 D2 _4 w0 X# ]
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.6 k1 d. I+ g$ P! a/ P
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.( }! Y+ `' q0 Q8 h
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
, }5 d/ K( ~& |/ D! e• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.0 l, p8 _5 D/ X! e" U0 ~ i9 A3 w
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.1 i$ _, J! Y. n0 |" _
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 B4 P5 ]* i' n
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

- k& `# |3 n5 B! c, I• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" A0 n% M! ~1 X" R s( i% p• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
! [3 Z- h, S0 s2 E/ O% I7 o• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # M9 s8 X, |7 o+ G9 e+ O+ K7 `
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
0 [4 Q" ]1 {8 I• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.0 z* \! _' a5 D. r- J9 @6 @8 x: C
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
