Position: Youth Services Coordinator

3 v" _0 f/ [0 @o Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program3 C9 D8 \2 P/ a: p4 u q
o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program- g# A1 L; Y6 O5 u
o Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program/ N7 n& t' ]4 S" {. p/ z
o Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program8 C* s/ F) l7 t q. E
o Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
( i' ]: ?8 C, M' g# G/ d* R; l4 yo Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
( h5 u5 s4 S/ so Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
6 a |( S2 o8 t/ a0 ]0 ~o Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
) F3 @8 Y4 i$ ^+ { w! go Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues: q, t$ j2 n! W' n: k9 M
o Be open and willing to explore new ideas
: }8 u9 C: O( ?% s+ To Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
" \/ f; z) W, w% fo Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

! y6 b$ K6 p; o+ b& D2 j* _: f; po Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
3 K Y: n" j6 o2 d6 n% s$ P9 f8 \o Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
0 \; ^5 S1 J. M) |6 `) Y; k& Ho Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset0 j% w N; l) \9 U3 ~
o Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
