Interior Designer

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,3 P! r: W ~" r+ H1 {$ p d
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
* k O Y! ~. s/ R+ {drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
+ A5 c: C* I3 Gspecification and installation.& ~3 S( A$ X" Z3 V( L/ @( |
3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning6 x# R( r( t: F. K# Q* i; d
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these
% l4 {' F3 A4 ?. ^' N# pneeds.
" \ [! ^6 a6 b( n2 y) Q+ u1 k$ o4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
1 M' E$ [. u, u* m5 X! wroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.% b0 }8 V& J1 k% B4 A' E
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
+ o% ]7 A" i P/ e6 a4 tplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job6 R5 b* ^( t/ S2 q- Y
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

' {% m$ w. r' N" g2 M6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect+ K, n4 m, t5 A
& Design (A&D) drawing sets.
5 \. w! ~* `5 M2 v! A7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
' s+ j" J5 [+ n s3 B: zassures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes
* K" g6 ]6 s2 K0 n0 n6 U# Eand revisions.3 Q7 Z( `) U; K* G' X" Y1 C
8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job
8 L$ [9 x/ _9 @% Q. v- s" {6 Xinspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
9 @* {# f$ c( a+ h$ T9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing. D) s/ m( Y- H* x+ c
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.* k2 A" _! `5 T+ F3 J& r
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and

& Y" F3 N. z* G& U4 K `. ^, Lknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.% A+ c- Z: u3 J7 @" X3 g
