PURPOSE:

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of, V$ i6 ]; j6 P& e$ I) u8 W, p
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to4 V( K+ Y- C! K* R% s" O
measure layout.% e A* o- p; u% k
2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
& S$ `# M9 L" Z- `) T+ Cproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built" I8 H) p3 v E9 S H
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for1 A: v4 V9 d5 s0 J
specification and installation.
' ]4 e; Y5 B$ J- ^; ?3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning; d, w, S8 a! i( \9 W+ Y& h
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

$ \1 L9 p2 T# f! [+ O2 n6 T4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering

5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
/ Y5 J$ F$ b" G, J2 Rplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job( Q7 {: E5 k2 w8 H% A0 R9 h8 B
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence
+ B1 I) }% m0 F# t) C' ychecks.
1 ? K0 X D$ U6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect: I8 c5 p. N5 x4 r
& Design (A&D) drawing sets.
! D0 s5 X+ {/ t. ?2 N7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
# X& X O8 J0 v4 p+ W, tassures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes1 D3 h& [$ F8 A, W- E v7 Q& }

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job' b1 b5 u) \' P, ^$ t1 v$ q( d
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.7 I2 ~" z% J S4 S# ]% r( S1 I
9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a, ?0 F. B6 H) o# F I
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
; s1 x$ {7 F# Iexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general$ [2 z: w1 B2 I
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
