Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, layout, and

requirements within allotted time and budget constraints. This position reports

* B( X. X; K, n# T+ SESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
/ F- c" t( T" b8 v* O( H+ Pproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built0 ~) m1 T5 z6 n
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for' _ O9 n4 w$ R2 Y/ j
specification and installation.
9 f% _' u" z3 @/ _/ }& C( J1 Q3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
- y) \+ g" g% {" mmeetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these8 F# I5 m+ G' r4 _: o Z* Y

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
" u C5 x/ ^* F& R* uroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.

plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job% ~$ ^: H3 B8 D! @; `

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,

10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.) i# W8 @! D, ` ?
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and- }: G/ `; w# N6 G$ f. s
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general
# H0 r: R7 ?& ]: |! N& q4 {$ d& xknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
