Foreign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.6 h; {- B% _8 L* c

Mekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.+ d8 t+ L. I$ I6 o
